On September 23, 2013, COERR and 78 refugee farmers (15 farmers, 5 teachers, 5 community leaders and 53 youth) from Tham Hin Camp, Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province, visited the Ban Nong Ta Dang Farming Center in Tanaosri Subdistrict, Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province, to learn about the traditional farming based on the local wisdom. Then they proceeded to visit the Sufficiency Economic Farming, based on the Royal Project in Ban Bo Village in the same subdistrict.
The objective of this exposure trip is to enable the refugees to learn and practice to work in the real farm that convince them of the knowledge and useful skills that enable them to produce enough food for their family in the camp and also when they repatriate to their home land in the future.
